Why this site is not an explanation of the laser
The cluster already publishes a thorough account of what laser and light-based treatment is and what it treats. Repeating that here would help nobody. This site exists for the stage before it — the point at which someone is deciding whether to give up a week of their life to a treatment that is supposed to improve their skin.
What that changes about the writing
Every guide here prices the treatment in healing days, uncertainty and risk rather than in device features. The recovery guide describes the week day by day, including the oozing nobody mentions in a consultation. The pigment guide says plainly that darker skin carries a higher and less predictable risk. The alternatives guide does not treat lighter options as a stepping stone to resurfacing, and the candidacy guide explains the cases in which the correct advice is not to treat.
How it is reviewed
Content is medically reviewed by Ke He, MD, head of skin and laser aesthetics at Chongqing West District Hospital, and the review date appears on every article. The site names no product and no device brand, quotes no dosage and no price, guarantees no outcome, and states plainly that the healing week is real, that pigment change is a genuine risk, and that results are long-lasting rather than permanent.
What no website can do
It cannot tell you whether your skin will heal the way most skin heals, whether your pigment will behave, or whether what bothers you is a surface problem at all. Those answers require an examination and a history. Read this site to arrive at that appointment able to ask better questions, not to arrive at a conclusion without it.
